Position:Systems Administrator / Software Programmer

Starting Pay:$50K to $85K per year based on experience

We are looking for an individual with network & systems administration skills as well as software integration & programming skills for a position helping manage our IT infrastructure, analyzing and diagnosing system problems, and working on new IT system development projects.

Job Duties:

• Set up and manage servers and virtual machines.
• Install and configure desktop and server software.
• Design new IT solutions to meet business and customer needs.
• Write software code for small applications, system automation and system integration.
• Analyze and diagnose network and server problems.
• Work with employees and customers to provide network and system support.
• Participate in on-call schedule to support live production systems.
• Play a supporting role on software engineering team.
• Play supporting role in database administration.
• Work on new product development projects.
• Be involved and influential in team decisions.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must have a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or comparable.
• New graduates are welcome to apply. Preference is given to candidates with some experience.
• Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and SQL query language is preferred.
• Candidate must have some experience (either classroom or on the job) writing software code.
• Candidate must be able to travel one to two times per year to industry conferences.
• Candidate must be willing to relocate to the Lehigh Valley region ofPennsylvania to work at our Allentown office.
• Candidate must be able to speak fluent English and have excellent writing skills. The ability to speak other languages is a plus but not required.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. No work Visas will be accepted.
